Unfortunately, Vagrant 2.2.6 doesn't work with this new release. This isn't an issue with this repository, but it may affect people using these boxes. It should be fixed in the next release of Vagrant (see hashicorp/vagrant#11249), but here's how to work around the problem in the meantime.
