A page view is one that is accessible via URL meaning it can be linked to directly, and
the view appears in the main content area. In order to provide a page view, the 'Page View'
setting must be checked; if unchecked, settings in this section will be ignored. Some items
in this list will be marked as advanced features, and require some understanding of Drupal
to really 'get'. Don't worry if these descriptions don't make sense to you; feel free to

Official Views 2 documentation exists as part of the Advanced Help module. A request
has been filed to add this tutorial to Views -- see http://drupal.org/node/495846 The
Advanced Help module is currently the only source of documentation for Views 3 theming. For
those who are familiar with theming in Views 1, the process in Views 2 may seem overwhelming
at first. Unlike Views 1, in which you might have a single template file for each view,
Views 2 allows you to have a template for each facet of each view, which it then assembles

Don't know how to create views? Read Views 2 tutorials to get you started. First you'll have
to create a view page and choose some settings. The most important settings are under the
“Basic settings” section of your display: Style: HTML List Row Style: Fields Don't forget to
add the fields you want to display. Step 2. Organize your themed views files
For the last six months, Scott Reynolds has been keeping a big juicy secret. As the
maintainer of the Apache Solr Views module, he knows just how cool the future of Drupal
Search is going to be. His module, based on an idea and code from Thomas Seidl, lets you
make custom searches against the Solr index the same way you currently make views against
the MySQL database.
