You met the billionaire playboy
once. You grew up in one of his orphanages, after your Pop was killed by a villain and
your Ma ran off to make her fortune robbing banks in a souped-up mech suit. The orphanage
was nice, nicer than home even, because nobody there was squirreling away your lunch money
to pay for mech suit parts. You met the billionaire playboy when he came through the
orphanage to inspect the place. There was a woman with a clipboard trailing behind him,
and she smiled at you. The billionaire ran his hands across the rows of bedposts and
looked into the distance, and you couldn’t catch his eye.
In order to support cataloging
efforts at subscribing institutions, the Women Writers Project offers free metadata
records for all texts published as part of Women Writers Online (WWO). Every time new
texts are published in WWO, we will update this page with a metadata set consisting of
records created or changed after the last publication. At that time, we will also update
the set containing records for all published WWO texts.

Cataloging and Metadata Services at the University of Utah’s J. Willard Marriott Library.
Jeremy recently gave a presentation at the ALA Midwinter conference entitled
Re-Discovering and Linking Metadata in Viewshare. In the presentation, he described how he
created a view from the metadata of the Western Soundscape Archive. He found that
Viewshare enabled “more possibilities for creating unique experiences for users.”
